About The Position

As the founding ML/AI engineer, you will own and build the intelligence layer of a recruiting marketplace, including recommendation systems, ranking algorithms, and LLM-powered matching that determine which candidate sees which role. You will take features from problem definition through production, ship at a daily cadence, and architect and maintain the production data pipelines and services that support the models. You will work directly with the founders to translate product goals into shipped systems. The role is based in person at the company's hacker house in San Francisco, six days a week. The work has an intense cadence. Relocation assistance is available.

Requirements

2–5 years of experience shipping production software, with applied machine learning depth and experience putting models in front of users.
Hands-on experience with recommender systems, ranking, or ML-powered matching.
Strong in TypeScript or Python; either language is sufficient.
Production experience with LLM APIs.
Strong computer science fundamentals and a track record in fast, unstructured environments.
An outstanding profile, such as a top program, strong GitHub, or projects to be proud of.
