Founding Marketing Lead

Alpaca HealthNew York, NY
Onsite

About The Position

Alpaca Health enables clinicians to become entrepreneurs, starting in autism care. We help clinicians launch and scale their own clinics by providing AI-powered software, payer contracting, and full back-office infrastructure. Our goal is simple: shift power in healthcare away from large consolidated entities and back to clinicians. We are growing quickly and expanding into new states this year. The problems we are solving are operationally complex, high-stakes, and deeply meaningful for families. We've raised over $14M in funding from early-stage investors like Core Innovation Capital, Adverb Ventures, and South Park Commons, and are building for long-term category leadership. More importantly, we're serving hundreds of patients, while growing 30% MoM. We are hiring a Founding Growth Marketing Lead to build and scale Alpaca Health’s growth engine from the ground up. This is a hands-on, zero-to-one role for someone who wants to own how we reach all sides of our marketplace: entrepreneurial providers, patients, and referral partners. You will design and execute our ecosystem-led growth strategy across community, content, and partnerships—while also managing external channels and vendors. You will sit at the intersection of product, sales, and operations, translating our vision into a repeatable, scalable growth system. This role is not about running isolated campaigns. It is about building a durable growth machine. The bar is high. The pace is high. The expectations are high.

Requirements

  • You are extremely ambitious and want to build something meaningful at high velocity.
  • You are comfortable working harder and moving faster than most people.
  • You thrive in environments with little structure and high accountability.
  • You are a systems thinker who instinctively turns chaos into repeatable processes.
  • You can manage a large volume of parallel priorities without dropping details.
  • You communicate with clarity and judgment, internally and externally.
  • You bring strong analytical horsepower and can move between strategy and execution seamlessly.
  • You have experience in consulting, investing, startup operations, healthcare strategy, or similarly demanding roles.
  • This role is best suited for someone who wants to become a founder or senior operator and is willing to earn that opportunity through real responsibility.
  • NYC-based candidates (or candidates open to relocation). We work 5 days a week in person.

Responsibilities

  • Drive provider acquisition through content & community
  • Run webinars and CEUs as a core acquisition channel.
  • Develop organic content across channels to attract and convert providers.
  • Build and nurture community touchpoints (events, groups, ongoing engagement loops).
  • Lead in-person and field marketing strategy
  • Own conference strategy end-to-end (selection, messaging, execution, follow-ups).
  • Design high-leverage in-person experiences that drive pipeline and brand.
  • Own organic growth channels
  • Build and scale SEO as a long-term acquisition engine.
  • Iterate on landing pages and lead magnets
  • Develop content systems that compound over time (not one-off posts).
  • Manage paid acquisition through vendors
  • Own strategy and performance for digital ads (Google, Meta, etc.) via external partners.
  • Hold vendors accountable to outcomes and continuously improve CAC efficiency.
  • Build the growth system, not just campaigns
  • Design repeatable acquisition loops across channels.
  • Establish tracking, attribution, and performance metrics.
  • Continuously test, iterate, and scale what works.
  • Do whatever drives growth
  • Some days will be content. Some will be partnerships. Some will be deep in analytics.
  • You will operate across strategy and execution depending on what unlocks growth fastest.
  • You will own outcomes, not channels.

  • Competitive salary
  • Meaningful equity
