Founding Head of Talent
About The Position
Atum Works is building the first 3D lithography foundry, developing manufacturing paradigms to directly pattern a range of materials in 3D over large areas at micrometer resolution. The company has meaningful traction for the semiconductor products this technology enables and expects 3D lithography to transform manufacturing if scaled successfully. The Founding Head of Talent will work alongside the founders to define the team Atum needs and identify and recruit those people. This hands-on leadership role owns the recruiting strategy and builds the systems and team to execute it as the company scales.
Requirements
- Experience identifying, assembling, and working alongside world-class talent.
- Experience mapping and networking in specialized technical communities.
- A background in Physics, Chemistry, or Engineering, or demonstrated ability to learn technical subjects.
- Discretion with sensitive information and the ability to communicate credibly with specialists.
- A track record of engaging and closing hard-to-reach individuals.
- Comfort doing business abroad.
- Excellent judgment about people.
Nice To Haves
- Experience in physical science research, deep tech, semiconductors, or advanced manufacturing.
