About The Position
At Truvo, we are building a fully autonomous consumer insurance broker — saving the average household hundreds of dollars on insurance while better protecting people for the worst moments in their lives. We are rewiring a trillion-dollar industry that still runs on phone calls, fax machines, and legacy carrier systems. We raised our seed, built a best-in-class AI-native broker platform with AI agents that quote, bind, and service policies autonomously, and are scaling an exceptional team. We are looking for a Founding Engineer to go deep on AI agents and models — working on messy, high-impact problems that most people would walk away from, shipping from day one, and owning what you build end to end.
Requirements
- Love working on messy, high-impact problems that most people would walk away from
- Take ideas from zero to one quickly
- Thrive in ambiguity, figure things out, and ship
- Hands-on experience with LLMs and agents — building, fine-tuning, or deploying them in production
- Comfortable with integrations, APIs, and workflow automation
- Strong software engineering background
- Experience building production-grade systems, not just prototypes

Responsibilities
- Sit with our insurance team and build AI agents to automate workflows
- Build models to deeply understand insurance carrier appetite
- Construct deep API integrations into insurance carriers
- Deploy to production and move extremely quickly
- Take full responsibility for your projects
