Pax Historia is creating the future of interactive entertainment by building a platform for worldbuilders, storytellers, and game developers to create and publish any 'what if' scenario. While historical scenarios are popular, fantasy and sci-fi are rapidly growing categories. The company has experienced significant growth with over 92 million rounds played and has secured a $10M+ seed round, backed by notable investors like Y Combinator, Bessemer, Pace Capital, and Z Fellows. This role is crucial for the company's ability to handle a high volume of requests across multiple AI providers, ensuring quick, reliable, and cost-effective responses for their platform.

Responsibilities
- Own the system responsible for sending large numbers of requests across many AI providers and getting the right response back quickly, reliably, and cheaply.
- Work on provider reliability, structured outputs, caching, routing, and monitoring.
- Ensure that the 37+ models on the site reliably handle over 30 billion monthly tokens.
- Reduce costs and latency for over 60k daily active users.
