About The Position

ProhostAI (YC S24) is building an AI-powered operating system for Airbnb & short-term rental hosts. Our founding team consists of data scientists and engineers from Airbnb, Dropbox, Twitter and Harvard. We are backed by Y Combinator, Pear VC, Pioneer Fund, Data Tech Fund and others. Our founding team comes from Airbnb and Dropbox engineers and data scientists who are also hosts with a 4.99+ rating across thousands of stays. This is a full-time remote/hybrid role. We are based out of New York city and have a distributed team. Preference will be given to candidates who can be be located in NYC. As a Full Stack Product Engineer, you will be responsible for back-end and front-end web development, software development, and full-stack development tasks. We are looking for a product minded engineer who is excited to ship novel & delightful AI-powered user experiences to build a category leading product for Airbnb hosts.

Requirements

2+ years of experience with front-end development (React, TypeScript, PWAs)
2+ years of experience with back-end development (Python, RabbitMQ, Microservices)
Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities
Experience with cloud technologies and deployment (AWS/Google Cloud, Firebase, Docker)
Knowledge of databases and web storage solutions (Postgres, Redis, NoSql)
Excellent communication and teamwork skills
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
