About The Position

Meow is business banking built for crypto companies, offering FDIC-insured accounts through banking partners, real yield on idle cash, and support for offshore entities. It also allows for seamless sending and receiving of crypto directly from fiat checking balances with automatic conversion. This role is the first hire on the ground in Asia, responsible for establishing Meow's presence in the region. The initial two months will be spent in NYC for product and pitch training, followed by relocation to Singapore or Hong Kong to build pipeline from scratch. The role involves writing the playbook, attending industry events like Token2049, building relationships with founders, CFOs, and treasurers, and converting these relationships into accounts.

Requirements

• 2 to 5 years in sales or BD, with quota that was actually carried and hit
• Understanding of finance and crypto, including stablecoins, yield, and the importance of FDIC insurance
• Hungry and proactive, preferring to figure things out rather than wait for instructions
• Well-connected, or able to build a network fast and thoughtfully
• Ability to earn introductions and maintain relationships
• Comfortable being the only Meow representative in a room and taking ownership

Nice To Haves

• An AE or BD rep who has been successful and wants to build something new
• Someone already in the Asia crypto scene with existing connections to founders, funds, and group chats
• A former founder or early employee with sales and hustle experience looking to do 0 to 1 again
• Someone with a finance background who transitioned into crypto

Responsibilities

• Build pipeline from zero across Singapore, Hong Kong, and the wider APAC crypto scene
• Work the conference and event circuit, showing up, following up, and turning handshakes into meetings
• Get warm introductions through people who trust you, rather than just blasting cold DMs
• Run discovery and pitch Meow to skeptical, sharp crypto buyers who care about social proof and trust
• Feed learnings back to the NYC team to sharpen the pitch
