About The Position

We’re looking for a gifted Founding Account Executive to work directly with the CEO, Head of Business Operations, and founding team to help spread Closure’s impact. This is not a rest-and-vest or 9-to-5—we are a growing startup delivering incredible outcomes for law enforcement agencies across the U.S. Succeeding at this role will take hunger, elbow grease, and a white-glove approach to succeed. Your work here matters to how AI is adopted by public safety agencies, and the stakes are quite high. Thoughtfulness and integrity are also critical to success. This role will require significant travel to conferences, customer onsites, and more.

Responsibilities

  • Own every stage of the full-cycle sales: outbound, discovery, demo, pilot, procurement, negotiation, and close, post-close touchpoints.
  • Co-lead pilots and POCs that convert frontline users into champions.
  • Manage CRM hygiene, deal documentation, and transparent communications.
  • Generate your own pipeline through outbound, conferences, referrals, and relationships in the law enforcement community.
  • Build and maintain a trusted group of decision-makers across police departments, sheriffs' offices, prosecutors’ offices, and federal LEOs.
  • Identify and prioritize the agencies most likely to benefit from Closure.
  • Navigate the realities of agency buying: RFPs, sole-source justifications, cooperative purchasing vehicles, grant cycles, competing priorities, and security reviews.
  • Help define positioning, pricing, and sales motion as the company scales.
  • Bring the voice of the customer back to product and engineering—the roadmap will be shaped by what you hear in the field.
  • Represent Closure at conferences nationwide (IACP, major chiefs and sheriffs associations, and regional conferences).
