About The Position

Dataleap is seeking a Founder's Associate to work directly with one of the founders, Jan. This role is designed for an individual who will be Jan's right hand, taking ownership of critical tasks and outcomes across growth, sales, hiring, and other emergent needs. The position offers a unique opportunity to be deeply involved in building and scaling a company from the inside, with a steep learning curve and significant impact. The company has secured $3M in funding from prominent investors and is experiencing rapid revenue growth, with high demand for its AI employee solutions.

Requirements

• Proven ability to execute and a track record of building something real (company, project, team) from scratch.
• High agency: ability to identify needs and take action independently without explicit permission or a playbook.
• Generalist capabilities: ability to handle diverse tasks across sales, hiring, and operations within the same day.
• Strong work ethic and instinct for prioritizing impactful activities.
• Deep sense of ownership, focusing on outcomes rather than tasks.
• Strong belief in and practical experience with AI tools, viewing AI employees as the future.
• Willingness to be pushed and work alongside highly capable individuals.

Nice To Haves

• Previous founder experience.
• Experience as an early startup operator or one of the first employees at a startup.
• Willingness to pivot careers if demonstrated ability to 'run through walls' is present.
• Not a consultant who plans, but someone who does.

Responsibilities

• Taking ownership of whatever is most important and least owned, which changes weekly.
• Driving sales and go-to-market execution, including outreach, pipeline management, deal preparation, and closing new business.
• Implementing and managing operational systems, follow-ups, and coordination to optimize the founder's time.
• Leading hiring efforts, including sourcing, screening, and bringing in new talent.
• Researching, forming a view, making decisions, and shipping results on special, high-stakes projects that do not yet belong to a specific team.
• Automating aspects of the role using Dataleap's AI employee technology.
