About The Position

As a Senior Project Manager, you will be responsible for the end-to-end delivery of large-scale, engineering initiatives. This will require working closely with cross-functional teams across many infrastructure and cloud programs. Requirements

  • A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business, Management, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a similar field of study.
  • 10+ years of experience in project management, with at least 5 years specifically focused on IT.
  • Ability to quickly learn and understand technical concepts to effectively communicate with engineering teams.
  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills, including demonstrable experience analyzing data (e.g., utilizing Excel, Alteryx, Tableau, QlikView, etc.)
  • A very strong work ethic, and a willingness to learn and partner with others.
  • Proven track record of delivering large-scale, cross-functional projects.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills with the ability to engage and influence senior leaders.
  • Demonstrated ability to set goals, meet deadlines, and effectively communicate progress to stakeholders.
  • Highly organized with attention to detail and excellent follow-through skills.

Responsibilities

  • Define and drive the execution of multi-quarter, multi-year complex technical programs.
  • Align technical roadmaps with long-term business goals.
  • Develop and maintain project reporting and dashboards.
  • Communicate with key stakeholders on progress of the project.
  • Ensure teams are working to complete tasks on time.
  • Proactively identify, mitigate, and communicate program risks.
  • Manage complex inter-team dependencies to prevent bottlenecks and ensure high-confidence delivery dates.
  • Lead the planning and execution of complex infrastructure projects.
  • Define project scope and manage critical path dependencies.
  • Work with project sponsors to define and actively manage project scope, plan, resource, budget, timeline, deliverables and dependencies.
