About The Position

Join the Jaco Waterproofing Team! We're seeking a skilled general laborer with expertise in basement waterproofing, crack repairs, brick sealing, commercial waterproofing, driveway sealing, concrete lifting, crawlspace encapsulation, and foundation piering. This role involves safeguarding properties from water damage and ensuring the structural stability of various buildings. The hourly rate is based on experience.

Requirements

• Skilled general laborer with expertise in basement waterproofing, crack repairs, brick sealing, commercial waterproofing, driveway sealing, concrete lifting, crawlspace encapsulation, and foundation piering.

Responsibilities

• Repairing leaks in walls and floors to ensure a dry, safe basement.
• Using injection processes to stop water infiltration.
• Maintaining or replacing sump pumps.
• Applying waterproofing materials to residential and multi-family buildings to prevent leaks and mold growth.
• Waterproofing schools, hospitals, stadiums, and other commercial buildings.
• Protecting driveways from cracking and damage caused by salt and other chemicals.
• Lifting and leveling concrete surfaces on stairways, sidewalks, and driveways to prevent the need for tear-outs and replacements.
• Waterproofing and repairing crawlspaces to protect against moisture and structural damage.
• Installing piers to prevent foundation settling or bowing, ensuring structural integrity and aesthetic appeal.
