About The Position

IESC has a Summer 2026 internship opportunity available within its Executive Office focused on Foundation Fundraising. This is an unpaid internship. The successful applicant must be able to commit a minimum of 20 hours per week. Requirements

Excellent written and oral communication skills
Proven research and analytical skills
Self-starter with a strong attention to detail
Knowledge of and interest in nonprofits, foundations, fundraising, international economic development, and/or business

Nice To Haves

Previous internship(s) and/or professional work experience preferred
Strong research and writing skills
Ability to work independently
Knowledge of and interest in nonprofits, fundraising, international economic development, business, or international affairs is preferred

Responsibilities

Conduct research of pre-identified foundations and other funders, as well as identify and research additional funders, for funding of two new program models aligned to our mission
Help develop communications to the targeted funders and conduct associated follow up
Help develop tailored proposals and related submissions specific to each funder
Related and additional duties as assigned
