About The Position

The Foundation Executive Assistant supports the Vice President of Development and contributes to the overall success of the hospital's fundraising and community engagement efforts. This role involves a variety of responsibilities, from managing donor relationships and executing fundraising strategies to organizing community programs and workshops. The ideal candidate is highly organized, detail-oriented, and has a strong ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment while maintaining the highest level of professionalism, particularly when engaging with high-profile donors.

Requirements

  • At least 2 years of relevant experience
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills, with acute attention to detail
  • Proven experience working with high-profile donors and maintaining professionalism
  • Ability to develop and execute winning fundraising strategies and community engagement initiatives
  • Experience in executing and evaluating health and wellness programs and developing educational workshops
  • Familiarity with using databases for maintaining donor records and generating reports
  • Strong analytical skills for financial analysis, trend identification, and budgeting
  • Willingness to travel and work flexible hours, including nights and weekends
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with a creative and proactive approach

Responsibilities

  • Travel across the entire service area as needed, and work nights and weekends as assigned to support development and fundraising events.
  • Demonstrate strong organizational skills, with exceptional attention to detail and a creative approach to communication. Handle multiple tasks under pressure while maintaining accuracy and efficiency.
  • Maintain a track record of working with high profile donors, always ensuring the utmost professionalism. Develop and execute effective fundraising strategies and techniques, particularly with individual donors.
  • Plan, execute, and evaluate community health and wellness programs and activities that align with the hospital's mission.
  • Develop seminars and educational workshops that address the identified needs of the community, enhancing public awareness and engagement.
  • Assist in directing grassroots fundraising initiatives designed to engage local businesses, community groups, and social organizations.
  • Assist in identifying and engaging major gift prospects by researching, investigating, and utilizing resources from various sources. Record and maintain prospect profiles with appropriate follow-up.
