About The Position

The Foundation Coordinator is responsible for the day-to-day coordination, execution, and logistical support of the Ogden School Foundation's programs, grants, and community events. They will report directly to the Executive Director and will bridge the gap between foundation strategy and real-world execution by coordinating the day-to-day operations, grant distributions, and logistical support for programs and community events. This role requires a highly organized, collaborative self-starter who can effectively interact with educators, donors, and board members. We are looking for an individual that believes that the Ogden of tomorrow begins in our schools today. Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited institution, or an equivalent combination of advanced education and verified administrative experience.
  • A minimum of two (2) years of high-level experience in program management, foundation operations, large-scale financial coordination, or institutional development.
  • Exceptional customer service and relationship-building skills with the warmth to engage diverse stakeholders.
  • High proficiency in written, verbal, and face-to-face communication, coupled with a genuine, service-first demeanor when interacting with educators, donors, and community partners.
  • Proven ability to manage complex logistics, multiple competing initiatives, and deadlines simultaneously.
  • Maintains strict accuracy in documentation and records while operating standard office systems.
  • Ability to navigate the dynamic environment of non-profit operations and live events with grace, composure, and flexibility.
  • Thrives when pivoting in real-time to solve unexpected challenges.
  • Passionate about sharing the story and impact of the Ogden School Foundation.
  • Confidently and professionally represents the Executive Director and Foundation leadership at donor meetings, community events, and board functions.
  • Proficient in data entry, Google Workspace, Microsoft Office Suite, and specialized database/grant management platforms.

Nice To Haves

  • Prior experience in non-profit management, educational foundations, or public school district structures is preferred, but not required.

Responsibilities

  • Manage the end-to-end administration of numerous classroom and school-level grant applications.
  • Advise educators on grant submissions, track funding to align with educational priorities, and assist in preliminary budget preparation.
  • Compile and distribute donor impact and stewardship reports.
  • Plan and execute multi-layered logistics for a variety of large-scale events, including fundraising tournaments, author events, educational assemblies, student contests, and staff recognition dinners.
  • Coordinate the distribution of essential student resources.
  • Manage educational partner field trips.
  • Oversee in-kind donation intakes.
  • Organize community volunteer projects.
  • Research, draft, and submit grant proposals to corporate entities, private foundations, and individual donors.
  • Serve as an operational deputy to the Executive Director, authentically representing the foundation’s mission at community engagements and board functions.
  • Support active board committees and prepare official documentation.
  • If directed, assist with interviewing, onboarding, and scheduling program-support personnel.
