About The Position

Azleway is seeking a qualified candidate to serve as a Foster Home Developer in Houston, TX. This position reports directly to the Regional Director and is responsible for coordinating efforts to place children within Azleway’s Foster Home system.

Requirements

• A master's degree in a human services field from an accredited college or university, OR
• A master's degree from an accredited college or university and one year of relevant experience, OR
• A bachelor's degree in a human services field from an accredited college or university and one year of relevant experience, OR
• A bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university and two years of relevant experience.

Responsibilities

• Conducting all communication, assessment, and interviews for prospective foster parents.
• Conducting and developing foster home studies.
• Coordinating foster parent pre-service training.
• Monitoring foster homes for compliance with applicable standards, laws and regulations
• Routine staffing development, monitoring, and training activities with administration
• Attending weekly meeting to assess verification process status, foster home compliance monitoring and training needs.
• Other duties as assigned.
• Must meet all applicable Texas Department of Family and Protective Services licensing requirements, including passing mandatory drug screening, background checks, and finger printing.
