About The Position

The Foster Dog Content Collector is responsible for gathering up-to-date information and media on foster dogs for purposes of accurate records and advertisement. This role serves as the link between our foster families, who are caring for our rescued dogs, and the teams who advertise them. As we do not have a kennel or building, we rely 100% on online platforms to advertise our dogs, which requires high-quality and up-to-date content and media to attract potential adopters. The role is remote and requires five hours per week, to be completed on your own schedule.

Requirements

• Systematic approach to reaching out to each foster family on a routine and scheduled basis
• Organized, with the ability to keep all media files organized within a file and folder system
• Must have a desktop computer or tablet (a phone will be too difficult to navigate spreadsheets)
• Pleasantly persistent to those fosters who need extra motivation to complete forms

Responsibilities

• Stays current on intakes and dogs in program
• Gives special attention to long-term residents
• Serves as the point of contact between Foster Family and Dog Ad Pack
• Proactively gathers content on all available dogs weekly via Baserow forms, Social Media, and Blink
• Uploads photos, videos, and copy to Google Drive
• Manages Master Dog Ads folders in Google Drive and keeps them up-to-date
• Archives adopted dog content
