Foster Care Worker
About The Position
TFI Family Services is seeking a full-time Foster Care Worker who is passionate about working with children and families. This role requires a bachelor’s degree in a human service field, with supervision by a professional holding a master’s level qualification, or a master’s degree in social work or a related discipline if such supervision is not available. Comprehensive training is provided. The Foster Care Worker will support children and families, ensuring children thrive in safe and nurturing environments. Responsibilities include teaching essential life skills such as emotion regulation, healthy relationships, conflict resolution, and effective communication. The role also involves collaborating with foster parents to provide training, licensing, and ongoing support for both the families and the children in their care.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in a human service field (with supervision by a master’s level professional) or a Master’s degree in social work or a related discipline.
