About The Position
Foster Care Workers work with children, Foster Parents and other Oklahoma Child Welfare Workers to help ensure that children can safely thrive in their foster home environment. Foster Care Workers seek to locate additional foster families in the community and will work with families to become certified foster parents through Oklahoma Foster Care! Foster Care Workers support foster families and guide them through the Child Welfare system as they are caring for children. Foster Care Workers work as part of a team and access, plan, and advocate to improve the quality of children's lives.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in a human service field
- Two or more years of experience in the human service field

Responsibilities
- Work with children, Foster Parents and other Oklahoma Child Welfare Workers to help ensure that children can safely thrive in their foster home environment.
- Seek to locate additional foster families in the community.
