About The Position

TFI Family Services is seeking a full-time Foster Care Worker to provide support services to foster families and youth. The worker builds and maintains relationships with lead agencies, service providers, schools, and legal parties to communicate about children in foster care, including their status, needs, and progress. The role suits someone committed to advocating for children and families, helping families build on their strengths, and connecting them with community resources. Comprehensive training is provided. The average hourly rate is $21.83, including wages, incentives, bonuses, overtime, and shift differential.

Requirements

A bachelor’s degree in a human service or related field is preferred but not required; an equivalent combination of education and relevant experience is accepted.
Compassion and enthusiasm for helping families build on their strengths and connect with community resources.
Commitment to advocating for children and families and supporting their growth and well-being.
Passion for developing healthy families and providing exceptional support and advocacy.
