About The Position

Foster Care Case Manager at TFI Family Services. This role supports children in state custody and the families caring for them, helping move each child toward permanency, safety, and well-being. The position requires managing a caseload, conducting regular visits, coordinating visitation, facilitating meetings, partnering with various professionals, attending court hearings, connecting families to resources, completing documentation, and transporting children when needed. The role also involves participating in limited on-call rotations and requires regular in-state travel.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in social work or a related human services field
  • Experience working with children and families
  • Valid Class E Driver’s License and Vehicle Insurance
  • CPR Certification (or ability to obtain)

Responsibilities

  • Manage a caseload of approximately 14-20 children
  • Conduct regular visits with children, parents, and foster families
  • Coordinate family and sibling visitation
  • Facilitate Family Support Team (FST) meetings
  • Partner with courts, schools, therapists, and child welfare professionals
  • Attend court hearings and provide case updates
  • Connect families to community and support resources
  • Complete accurate and timely documentation
  • Transport children to appointments when needed
  • Participate in limited on-call rotations (after-hours support is compensated)
