About The Position

You are a customer‑obsessed, execution‑driven leader who thrives at the intersection of technology, product, and real‑world deployment. As a Forward Deployment Lead, you own the success of Qyrus implementations in customer environments while leading and mentoring a small team of Forward Deployment Engineers. You combine hands‑on deployment expertise with strategic thinking to ensure customers achieve measurable value quickly and consistently. You act as the primary bridge between clients, product, engineering, and our Client Success Team, turning deployments into insights and insights into product improvements.

Requirements

  • A bachelor’s degree (engineering, computer science, or related field preferred) with 7–10+ years of relevant experience, including customer‑facing technical roles
  • Proven experience leading or mentoring teams in forward deployment, solutions engineering, implementation, or technical consulting roles
  • Strong hands‑on experience deploying SaaS or AI‑enabled platforms in complex customer environments
  • The ability to translate ambiguous customer requirements into practical, scalable solutions
  • Deep comfort working across engineering, product, and business stakeholders
  • A track record of ownership, accountability, and bias toward action
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to confidently engage senior customer leaders
  • Experience influencing product direction through customer feedback and deployment insights
  • Candidates should be authorized to accept employment in the U.S. from any employer
  • Should be willing to start within four weeks of accepting an offer.

Nice To Haves

  • Background in QA, test automation, DevOps, or SDLC‑related tooling
  • Experience with APIs, integrations, or enterprise system landscapes
  • Prior experience as a player‑coach or founding team member for a new function

Responsibilities

  • Lead and own customer deployments of the Qyrus platform, ensuring successful implementation, adoption, and value realization.
  • Serve as the senior escalation point for complex deployment, integration, or adoption challenges, owning issues through resolution.
  • Manage and mentor Forward Deployment Engineers, setting priorities, supporting execution, and developing best practices.
  • Define and refine deployment playbooks, processes, and standards to enable repeatable, scalable success.
  • Partner closely with Product and Engineering teams to share customer insights, influence roadmap decisions, and improve platform usability.
  • Work directly with customers’ technical and business stakeholders, aligning platform capabilities with real‑world use cases and operational needs.
  • Support proof‑of‑value, pilot programs, and strategic accounts, ensuring smooth transitions from evaluation to full production use.
  • Track deployment success metrics, customer outcomes, and adoption trends to continuously optimize team performance.
  • Conduct high‑impact demos, workshops, and executive‑level presentations for customers and internal stakeholders.
  • Travel to customer sites as needed, representing Qyrus as a trusted deployment and technical partner.
