About The Position

This is a hands-on individual contributor role focused on designing, developing, and delivering software products that solve high-value operational problems. The engineer will work at the intersection of customers, operations, physical assets, and data, building custom solutions where standard platforms are not a fit. The role involves embedding directly with internal stakeholders and external customers to understand operational challenges, define problems, and build and deploy solutions. Work spans full-stack application development, cloud infrastructure on GCP, enterprise data platforms for AI scale, integrations with manufacturing and warehousing technology, and automation and tooling to take ideas into production. The engineering organization aims to be AI-native, using intelligent automation, orchestration, and applied AI/ML as part of its regular work. This is a hybrid position based in Dearborn, Michigan, reporting to the Software Engineering Manager.

Responsibilities

Work directly with internal stakeholders and external customers to understand operational problems.
Help define problems in ambiguous settings and design, develop, and deploy software solutions.
Develop applications across the full stack.
Work with cloud infrastructure on GCP and enterprise data platforms for AI scale.
Build integrations with manufacturing and warehousing technology.
Develop automation and tooling to move ideas into production.
Own outcomes and take accountability for shipped solutions.
