Forward Deployment AI Engineer
About The Position
Build and ship AI agents in close partnership with subject matter experts and operators. Establish MCP servers and connectors, taking them from pre-production and design review into production. Bootstrap skills, integrations, and evaluations on the client’s AI platform, including its LLM gateway, shared RAG services, and MCP toolchain. Run workshops, teach teams to use Claude Code, and translate their workflows into agent skills. Hand off mature systems to platform and operations teams when they outgrow the bootstrap phase. Share patterns, anti-patterns, and platform gaps with the Center of Excellence to help future engineers work more effectively.
Requirements
- Shipped production agents using Claude Agent SDK, MCP, or an equivalent stack.
- Production experience in at least one of Python, Node, or .NET, with the ability to work across the others.
- Experience with a range of data stores, including relational, NoSQL, object/blob, vector, and document databases.
- Ability to operate end-to-end as a one-person team, designing, shipping, supporting, and handing off work.
