About The Position

As a Forward-Deployed Software Engineer at Anomaly, you will bridge client-facing teams and engineering, rapidly developing analytics and software tools that make an immediate impact with our customers (including large health systems, laboratory clients, and more). You will collaborate with our exceptional data science and engineering teams to deliver state-of-the-art software, and work closely with our sales, growth, and client teams to provide actionable insights and drive implementation. This role suits someone who can determine whether a challenge is best addressed through improved communication, deeper analytics, or thoughtful software solutions.

Requirements

• 5+ years of software development experience in a fast-paced team environment
• Strong computer science fundamentals
• Expertise in SQL and Python
• Familiarity with healthcare analytics, ideally claim-structure and medical coding
• Ability to iterate quickly and seek feedback when confronted with ambiguous requirements
• Enthusiasm for tackling complex technical and business problems collaboratively
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills, able to explain complex topics and build trust in diverse client environments
• Willingness and flexibility to travel to client sites in the U.S.periodically with reasonable notice
