About The Position

At Synera, we’re looking for a Forward Deployed Engineer (FDE) who enjoys solving meaningful problems, collaborating with customers, and crafting innovative workflows that make a real impact. This role involves helping companies like NASA, BMW, and Airbus transform their engineering processes. A typical week might involve aligning with Customer Success Managers, building new workflows for data extraction, leading customer workshops to integrate workflows into multi-agent systems, participating in sprint reviews with developer teams, and contributing user insights to product managers. The role also includes participating in knowledge exchange sessions with fellow FDEs and Solution Engineers, and team events.

Requirements

Technical background in the Computational, Automation or Mechanical Engineering field.
Proven experience (~1-3 years) in working with customers, demonstrating strong communication skills and the ability to showcase business value with technical solutions.
Experience with CAD/CAE tools (e.g. OptiStruct, Siemens NX, CATIA, ANSYS, Nastran, Abaqus, LS-DYNA etc.).
Experience and/or deep interest in AI (LLMs, prompt engineering, vibe coding).
Ability to juggle multiple priorities and thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
Enjoy collaborating with clients and explaining complex topics in a clear, engaging manner.
Native German speaker or have professional-level German proficiency, enabling you to communicate confidently and effectively with customers.
Customer Engagement: This role includes around 40% travel for customer visits, workshops, and on-site collaboration.

Responsibilities

Build workflows and multi-agent systems in Synera that show fast value to customers
Identify valuable next use cases with customers
Regularly visit customers (up to 40%)
Fill missing functionality with scripts, web node automations and custom add-ins
Optimize prompts of agents and multi-agent systems to make them reliable
Communicate closely with Synera product managers to bring temporary solutions into the product
