About The Position

Accenture is hiring a customer-embedded, product-minded Forward-Deployed AI Engineer to work at the intersection of AI platforms, enterprise systems, and business problems. The role partners directly with clients, partners, and internal product teams to design, prototype, deploy, and scale end-to-end AI solutions. It involves hands-on work with platforms including OpenAI, Anthropic, Google Gemini, SAP, and ServiceNow, translating ambiguous business needs into production-grade AI workflows that deliver measurable impact. The position owns solutions from concept through prototype, production, and iteration, with accountability for quality, reliability, and outcomes. It requires engineering depth, strong communication, comfort with ambiguity, and a builder’s mindset. Travel may be required, varying from 25% to 75% based on business needs and client requirements. Requirements

At least 5 years of software engineering experience using Python, TypeScript/JavaScript, or Java, including 5 years integrating APIs and building distributed production systems.
At least 2 years of experience with modern AI/ML platforms, such as OpenAI, Anthropic, or similar foundation model providers, and workflow orchestration and agent frameworks.
At least 5 years translating high-level business needs into technical designs and implementations in a large enterprise organization or professional services firm.
At least 5 years of experience with enterprise platforms such as ServiceNow, Salesforce, SAP, or data platforms.
At least 5 years of client-facing communication and collaboration, including leading technical discussions, workshops, or delivery sessions under ambiguity.
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent; alternatively, at least 12 years of work experience. Applicants with an associate degree must have at least 6 years of work experience.

Responsibilities

Work with clients and internal teams to understand business problems, shape AI use cases, and define technical solutions, including where requirements are ambiguous or evolving.
Design and implement end-to-end AI solutions integrating LLMs and AI services with enterprise platforms, data platforms, and internal systems.
Rapidly prototype, iterate, and deploy AI-enabled workflows, agents, copilots, and automations in operational environments.
Bridge product, engineering, data, and business stakeholders to ensure solutions are technically sound, usable, and aligned with business value.
Drive solution architecture, including prompt and workflow design, API integrations and orchestration, enterprise knowledge integration, and security, privacy, and governance considerations.
Own solutions from concept through prototype, production, and iteration, ensuring quality, reliability, and outcomes.
Provide technical leadership and best practices for responsible, secure, and scalable AI deployment.
