About The Position
Accenture Flex offers fixed-duration, project-based work with flexibility in the employee’s local metro area. The Forward Deployed Engineer organizes the deployment of artificial intelligence workflows and architectures across AI and technology platforms, facilitating solution design across the enterprise technology stack for integration with AI models and multi-provider platforms. The role serves as a subject matter expert, collaborates with and guides teams, takes responsibility for team decisions, engages across teams, and contributes to key decisions. It also provides solutions to problems affecting multiple teams. Expert proficiency in Custom Application Architectures is required; advanced proficiency in Agentic Design is recommended, and advanced proficiency in Software Engineering, Business Process Analysis, and AI Agents and Workflow Integration is suggested. The position requires working onsite with the client 50% of the week in Dallas, Texas, or Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. Accenture Flex employees work in their local metro area onsite at the project, significantly reducing or eliminating travel.
Requirements
- At least 3 years of experience in Full Stack Java Native.
- Exposure to AI and RAG, FDE culture, API development, AI Coding Agents, AI Foundry, LangGraph, Neo, and Vector Knowledge Graphs.
- High school diploma or GED.
- Expert proficiency in Custom Application Architectures.

Responsibilities
- Develop and refine deployment strategies to optimize AI workflow integration across various platforms.
- Lead technical discussions to align solution designs with enterprise architecture and business objectives.
- Support colleagues by sharing expertise and providing guidance on complex architectural challenges.
- Analyze emerging technologies and recommend improvements to enhance system performance and scalability.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure solutions meet quality standards and operational requirements.
- Organize the deployment of AI workflows and architectures across AI and technology platforms.
- Facilitate solution design across the enterprise technology stack to ensure integration with AI models and multi-provider platforms.
- Collaborate with and manage teams, take responsibility for team decisions, engage with multiple teams, and contribute to key decisions.
- Provide solutions to problems that apply across multiple teams.
