About The Position

Tenex embeds elite teams directly into a client's operations to help Fortune 500 companies rebuild themselves around AI. The company focuses on identifying high-impact business opportunities and delivering AI solutions that make clients AI-native. Tenex collaborates with leading AI organizations like Anthropic and OpenAI, and works with prominent companies in the AI space such as Vercel and Lovable. Requirements

• Form a team of two to five people who have already built something significant together
• Demonstrate high agency
• Demonstrate high urgency
• Have a proven track record of building
• Be able to clear the same standard as every Tenex hire individually
• Be evaluated as a team unit
• Be willing to work in person from the New York City office five days a week
• Be willing to travel to client sites about once a month

Responsibilities

• Scope and prioritize bets (Strategists)
• Build and implement AI solutions (Forward Deployed Engineers)
• Frame work as testable hypotheses
• Build data sets that hold up over time
• Ensure systems remain functional after handover
• Utilize agentic coding tools
• Collaborate with partner teams at Anthropic and OpenAI
• Ship applied AI solutions that reach production
• Work directly with client operations and applied AI teams
• Travel to client sites approximately once a month
