About The Position
Become a Key Player as a Forward Deployed AI Engineer. You will help build and deploy AI-native compliance enforcement for enterprise communications, directly impacting how the organization prevents risky AI messages before they send. You will work closely with engineering, product, and customer stakeholders to embed solutions into customer stacks. Hybrid (3 days onsite) in the New York City area.
Requirements
- 5+ years writing production software, including customer-facing or deployment-heavy roles
- Proficiency in a general-purpose language (for example Python or TypeScript)
- Comfortable with APIs, cloud, and data systems
- Experience building automation or LLM agents that ran in production (not just demos)
- Strong communication skills and ability to earn trust of engineers and executives
- Ability to move quickly and deliver finished work independently
Nice To Haves
- Built LLM agent workflows or internal tooling at a startup
- Experience in regulated industries (financial services, healthcare, insurance)
- Early-stage / 0-to-1 startup experience
Responsibilities
- Build internal AI agents and automation to increase team leverage and reduce headcount needs
- Turn customer onboarding into a repeatable, mostly automated process
- Embed with early enterprise customers and integrate the product into their stacks
- Deploy clean, working solutions and hand back stable deployments to customers
- Debug live issues across APIs, data flows, and model behavior and fix root causes
- Surface field learnings back to product and engineering to improve the platform
