As a Forward Deployed AI Engineer, you’ll work with Python and TypeScript within Palantir Foundry to build and deploy data-driven solutions that address real-world challenges across Nebraska Medicine. This is a hands-on opportunity to develop and manage data workflows, analyze complex datasets, and integrate AI and analytics into applications that create meaningful value for patients, clinicians, and healthcare operations. You’ll take analytics use cases from concept through deployment, working closely with stakeholders to understand problems, translate ideas into practical solutions, and continuously improve what you build. Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Data Science, Engineering, or a related field required.
2-3 years of experience in software development, data engineering, or analytics roles required.
Proficiency in programming languages like Python, SQL, and Typescript for building analytics applications and managing large datasets required.
Proven ability to translate broad business concepts into effective and scalable data solutions required.
Experience in developing data models and performing data analysis required.
Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment, delivering impactful results while maintaining high-quality standards required.
Strong communication skills to convey technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders required.

Nice To Haves

Familiarity with Palantir Foundry, Dataiku, DataRobot, Databricks, cloud platforms, or similar AI/analytics platforms.
Familiarity with designing scalable and efficient analytics frameworks.
Hands-on experience with analytics platforms and tools, including performance optimization and data visualization tools.
Strong curiosity and foundational understanding of AI concepts, including Large Language Models (LLMs), machine learning, and natural language processing (NLP), with a willingness to apply and deepen knowledge in these areas.
Experience collaborating with senior leadership, IT, and business stakeholders to address strategic challenges.
Familiarity with AI and data science platforms such as Palantir, Dataiku, DataRobot, or similar, for developing and deploying data-driven solutions.
Experience with data visualization tools, such as Tableau, Power BI, or similar, for translating complex data insights into actionable, user-friendly visuals.
Certification in Palantir AI platform (or the ability to obtain it within the first year of employment).
