Fortinet Firewall Engineer

Fivesky is seeking a passionate and skilled Fortinet Firewall Engineer with expertise in network security and troubleshooting. The ideal candidate will have experience in designing and integrating Fortinet Firewalls into complex enterprise environments, as well as a strong understanding of networking and design principles. Responsibilities include replacing and refreshing existing firewalls, coordinating deployment activities, managing equipment delivery and inventory, and troubleshooting incidents post-migration. Additional qualifications include experience with network design documentation and Fortinet NSE 4+ certification.

• Replace and refresh existing firewalls with new Fortinet Firewall infrastructure
• Coordinate with the team to prepare all pre-deployment documentation necessary
• Ensure new equipment is registered and added to the inventory management system
• Project management of deployment
• Test existing firewall configurations
• Troubleshoot and resolve incidents post-migration as needed
• Manage the delivery and inventory of equipment
• Coordinate removal and proper destruction of decommissioned firewalls
• Experience with network design documentation
• Fortinet NSE 4+ certified

• Able and willing to start this role in 60 days or under (including your professional notice period)
• Led the design and integration of new and exciting Fortinet Firewalls into a complex enterprise environment
• Understand networking/design which includes things like routing, switching, ethernet (fiber optics 10/40/100G), F5, TCP/IP, packet trace, and analysis
• Experienced with troubleshooting Firewalls during design deployments
