About The Position

LG Resources is seeking a Formulation R&D Specialist to join our client's Research & Development team in Payson, UT. This role is responsible for the research, development, optimization, and commercialization of innovative nutraceutical products. If you have experience developing dietary supplements and enjoy turning ideas into market-ready products, this is an excellent opportunity.

Requirements

• 3–7 years of formulation development experience in the nutraceutical, dietary supplement, pharmaceutical, or functional food industry.
• Experience developing oral solid dosage forms and/or liquid nutraceutical products.
• Experience working with vitamins, minerals, botanical extracts, probiotics, amino acids, enzymes, and specialty nutraceutical ingredients.
• Experience with stability testing, analytical data interpretation, and shelf-life evaluation.
• Strong analytical, scientific writing, project management, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

Nice To Haves

• Knowledge of formulation scale-up, process validation, and commercial manufacturing preferred.
• Strong understanding of formulation science, excipients, and ingredient compatibility.

Responsibilities

• Develop and optimize formulations for tablets, capsules, powders, gummies, sachets, and liquid products.
• Research and select active ingredients and excipients based on functionality, compatibility, stability, and regulatory requirements.
• Improve formulations for efficacy, bioavailability, taste, manufacturability, and cost.
• Support product scale-up, process validation, and commercialization.
• Ensure formulations meet cGMP standards and quality expectations.
• Maintain accurate documentation of formulation development, testing, and quality data.
• Collaborate with Manufacturing, Quality, Regulatory, and cross-functional teams to bring new products to market.
