About The Position

CSI has an opportunity for a full-time Forms Analyst in the Forms Bureau in Helena, Montana. This position ensures filed insurance contracts, policies, endorsements, riders, applications, and other forms comply with Montana law. The incumbent will analyze filed forms to assess compliance with insurance regulatory requirements and work with insurers to bring forms into compliance when concerns are identified. This is an on-site position located in Helena, Montana.

Requirements

• Reviewing and analyzing insurance policy forms and contracts to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and Montana law, identifying and articulating areas of non-compliance to assist insurers with necessary revisions.
• Demonstrated ability and experience to interpret and apply Montana statutes, administrative rules, and relevant federal insurance laws (e.g., HIPAA, ACA, COBRA, ERISA) to insurance contract language, providing clear, actionable feedback to insurers.
• Bachelor's degree in business, accounting, or a related field and two years of progressively responsible experience. Alternate combinations of relevant education and experience may be considered on a case-by-case basis.
• Successful completion of a fingerprint background check.
• Possession of a valid driver's license.
• Submission of a cover letter, resume, and references.

Nice To Haves

• Education or experience within the insurance industry that includes multiple lines of insurance business: Life, Disability (Health and Long-Term Care), and/or Property and Casualty insurance.
• Experience within the legal industry reviewing regulations contracts, and other legal documents, such as paralegal work.

Responsibilities

• Serves as a contract reviewer responsible for thoroughly analyzing and reviewing insurance contracts, policy forms, endorsements, riders, and related documentation.
• Ensures filed insurance products issued in the state provide protection for Montana consumers by meeting statutory requirements.
• Requires significant reading and understanding of insurance contract language and the ability to interpret and apply Montana statutes and administrative rules with precision.
