Requirements

  • Minimum Two (2) years of College Education with 1-3 years of manufacturing experience or 5+ years of manufacturing experience
  • Excellent Computer skills: Excel, PowerPoint, and Word
  • 3-5 years of leadership experience (Team Lead, Group Lead, Supervisor, etc..)
  • Experience with systems like Quality Operating Systems, PM Systems, Scheduling, and Production Systems
  • Stamping / Automotive / Mechanical background

Responsibilities

  • Host/Manage the daily shift carryover meeting and assign daily job assignments to forming Product Tech Team Leaders per the production schedule
  • Daily Production report meetings with a review of safety, quality, and production with a leadership team
  • Ensure scheduled production run alignment with inventory to the customer
  • Utilizing the Downtime Databases (ODIX) to drive decisions and continuous Improvements
  • Utilizing MOS to drive operating way on the production floor/escalation process
  • Manage KPI’s such as Scrap, Quality rate, Production Efficiency, and Budget
  • Prepare Work Instructions for any Part Repair Process for defects in conjunction with Quality Engineering Team Leader development on the 4M process and Operational Accountability
  • Ensure 5’s methodology is being followed and sustained
  • Train team members to the required skill level of all Forming Product Tech using the Job Qualification Management Metalsa System and ensuring all documentation is always updated and accurate
  • Monitor all reporting of production activities to ensure accuracy and to identify areas for improvement
  • Flexibility of working all 3 shifts when needed on short-term job assignments
  • Additional responsibilities as required – this position is subject to change as the needs of the department change
