About The Position
The Forming Line Operator-Adjuster, Packaging role in Reno, NV involves setting up, starting up, and optimizing forming equipment to meet safety, quality, and throughput targets. The position requires continuous monitoring of production lines and making precise adjustments during operation. Responsibilities also include performing basic repairs and preventive maintenance with supervisory guidance, assisting with equipment modifications and larger repairs, and utilizing diagrams and OEM manuals for setup and troubleshooting. A strong understanding of forming systems is essential for quick issue resolution. The role also involves tweaking, troubleshooting, and maintaining equipment in the Forming HP area, as well as collaborating with teammates and taking on additional tasks as assigned by a supervisor.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- Mechanical aptitude and basic troubleshooting skills
- Strong communication plus basic computer and math capability
- Ability to read basic English and operate machine shop tools
