About The Position

Alpaca Health enables clinicians to become entrepreneurs, starting in autism care. We help clinicians launch and scale their own clinics by providing AI-powered software, payer contracting, and full back-office infrastructure. Our goal is simple: shift power in healthcare away from large consolidated entities and back to clinicians. We've raised over $14M in funding from early-stage investors like Core Innovation Capital, Adverb Ventures, and South Park Commons, and are building for long-term category leadership. We're serving hundreds of patients, while growing 30% MoM. This role is full-time. We’re looking for candidates based in NYC or open to relocating who are open to 5 days a week in the office. This role is for someone who has built something from nothing and knows what it means to operate with limited resources, make decisions without perfect information, and take ownership of outcomes. There isn't a predefined job description for this role. Instead, the candidate will work with the company to identify high-impact problems that match their strengths, whether that's product, operations, growth, partnerships, recruiting, content, or something else. The role will be designed around the areas where the candidate can create the most value.

Requirements

  • Proven experience as a founder or building something from scratch.
  • Comfort working with limited resources and making decisions without perfect information.
  • High level of ambition and desire to build something meaningful at high velocity.
  • Willingness to work harder and move faster than most people.
  • AI-native: comfortable using tools like Claude Code, Cursor, or similar for building and prototyping.
  • Thrives in environments with little structure and high accountability.
  • Systems thinker capable of turning chaos into repeatable processes.
  • Ability to manage a large volume of parallel priorities without dropping details.
  • Candidates must be based in NYC or open to relocating.
