Requirements

  • Valid Class A driver’s licence with Z Endorsement.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience.
  • Clean Driver’s abstract.
  • Flexible schedule availability.
  • Technical proficiency in Microsoft Suite, Zoom, and Teams.
  • Advanced written and spoken English language skills in English.
  • Criminal background check required

Nice To Haves

  • Previous teaching experience preferred but not mandatory.
  • Fluency in French preferred but not mandatory.

Responsibilities

  • Provide quality in-class and in-cab training to students, by following Ministry of Transportation guidelines.
  • Evaluate student progress and achievement; assume responsibility for the overall assessment of the student's work within assigned courses.
  • Provide weekly reports of student progress and related documentation.
  • Ensure that all health and safety guidelines are followed.
  • Provide a learning environment which makes effective use of available resources.
  • Communicate effectively and regularly with administration staff and students to promote learning and ensure student success.
