About The Position

Ascend Staffing is hiring a Forklift Operator for a warehouse role in Farmersville, Texas. The position pays $16–17 per hour and involves operating a sit-down forklift to move, stage, load, and unload materials throughout the work area. The employee helps keep products organized and supports efficient warehouse flow during a fast-paced, team-focused shift.

The role is suited to someone dependable and alert who is comfortable working around equipment, pallets, and other warehouse activity. Success requires following directions and safety practices, staying productive, and operating the forklift carefully. General warehouse tasks may also be needed. Overtime may be required.

This is a temporary assignment. The scheduled shift is 6:00 a.m. to 2:30 p.m., and the anticipated start date is ASAP. Ascend Staffing provides support throughout the assignment. Employment eligibility requires being legally able to work in the United States; a pre-employment drug screen and background check may also be required.

Requirements

• Sit-down forklift operating experience.
• Ability to operate a forklift safely in a warehouse environment.
• Dependable attendance and punctuality for the scheduled shift.
• Willingness to work overtime as needed.
• Ability to follow instructions, safety practices, and warehouse procedures.
• Must be legally able to work in the United States.
• May be required to pass a pre-employment drug screen and background check.

Nice To Haves

• Previous sit-down forklift experience in a warehouse or distribution setting.
• Experience loading, unloading, staging, and moving pallets.
• Comfort helping with general warehouse tasks as needed.
