About The Position

Meduri Farms Inc. is hiring a full-time Forklift Operator in Dallas, Oregon. The role involves safely operating a forklift while keeping up with production needs. The operator checks and maintains the forklift, moves empty and full product totes, retrieves syrup containers, brings fruit pallets for dumping, and keeps the production area clean. The position also includes general production work when requested by a supervisor. The schedule is typically Monday through Friday, 2:00 PM to 10:30 PM, with occasional weekend work and overtime as needed. The work requires standing, kneeling, walking, bending, and reaching while handling totes and tote tags, as well as occasional lifting of 50 pounds.

Requirements

At least 1 year of experience in a manufacturing or warehouse environment.
At least 1 year of experience operating a forklift.
Ability to perform tasks properly and promptly with little supervision.
Firm understanding of inventory and material flow.
Good communication and interpersonal skills.
Bilingual Spanish/English skills.
Team-player attitude and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

Check the forklift’s vital fluids before each shift and complete the checklist form.
Move empty totes so production workers can dump fruit into them.
Move full product totes to locations designated by a supervisor.
Retrieve the correct variety of syrup containers as instructed by a supervisor or lead.
Keep the production area clean by removing totes and pallets of garbage or recyclable materials, including cardboard and plastics.
Bring the correct fruit pallets to be dumped.
Keep the forklift clean and in good condition.
Perform general production work when requested by a supervisor.
