About The Position

Ascend Staffing is hiring a Forklift operator for a warehouse in Wilmer, Texas, at $23 per hour. The operator uses sit-down forklift equipment to move, stage, load, and unload products throughout the warehouse. Work may also involve handling freight with clamp equipment and slip-related attachments, while keeping materials organized and warehouse operations flowing efficiently. The environment is active and production-focused, with an emphasis on safe operations. The scheduled shift is 6:00 am to 4:00 pm, and the position is temporary. The anticipated start date is ASAP.

Requirements

• Ability to safely operate a sit-down forklift in a warehouse environment.
• Experience using clamp forklift equipment.
• Experience with slip sheet or slip-related material handling.
• Ability to load, unload, move, and stage products accurately.
• Commitment to following warehouse safety procedures and supervisor instructions.
• Must be legally able to work in the United States.
• May be required to pass a pre-employment drug screen and background check.
