About The Position

Ascend Staffing is hiring a warehouse associate in Irving, Texas. The role involves operating a reach forklift and handling inventory and orders in a warehouse. The position offers weekly pay and direct deposit or debit card payment options. Overtime is available. Pay depends on experience.

Requirements

• Warehouse associate experience is preferred.
• GED or high school diploma.
• Able to pass a pre-employment drug screen.
• Able to pass a background check.
• Authorized to work in the United States.
• Proficient in mathematics.
• Strong understanding of OSHA regulations.
• High regard for workplace safety.
• Current forklift license and certification.
• Able to lift 50 pounds unassisted.
• Able to work in a fast-paced environment and independently.
• Able to work nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Computer savvy and able to speak English.

Nice To Haves

• Knowledge of various material-handling equipment.

Responsibilities

• Operate a reach forklift.
• Use wireless RF scanning equipment to ensure inventory accuracy.
• Move materials from the warehouse to workstations, pickup locations, or other locations.
• Follow company quality and customer service standards.
• Perform cycle counts as required.
• Pick, wrap, and stage orders for shipment.
• Inspect and perform maintenance on forklifts and other material-handling equipment.
• Follow and update inventory activity, lists, and records, and log completed tasks.
• Identify workplace safety hazards.
• Consolidate partial pallets for incoming goods.
