About The Position

Ascend Staffing is hiring a Forklift operator in Broomfield, Colorado. The role involves production and material-handling work, including working with raw material and fiberglass. The schedule is a day shift from 4:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., Monday through Friday, with weekends off. Overtime is available. Pay is $19.00 per hour, paid weekly.

Requirements

High school diploma or GED.
Authorized to work in the United States.
Current forklift license and certification.
Proficient in mathematics.
Strong understanding of OSHA regulations.
High regard for workplace safety.
Able to lift 50 pounds unassisted.
Able to work in a fast-paced environment and independently.
Experience is preferred.
Knowledge of various material-handling equipment is an asset.

Responsibilities

Perform production work.
Use wireless RF scanning equipment to ensure inventory accuracy.
Move materials from the warehouse to workstations, pickup locations, or other locations.
Follow the company’s quality and customer-service standards.
Perform cycle counts as required.
Pick, wrap, and stage orders for shipment.
Inspect and perform maintenance on forklifts and other material-handling equipment.
Track and update inventory activity, lists, and records, and log completed tasks.
Identify workplace safety hazards.
Consolidate partial pallets for incoming goods.
Work with raw material and fiberglass.
