As a Material Handling Equipment (MHE) Technician, you will repair and maintain electric and propane industrial lift trucks, pallet jacks, scissor lifts, and/or cherry pickers. You will follow manuals and use hand tools, power tools, and knowledge of electrical, power transmission, brake, and other mechanical systems. This role involves managing the repair of MHE, including monitoring and trending, troubleshooting, repairs, and preventative maintenance. You will also conduct preventive maintenance (PM's) such as oil changes, filter changes, calibration, belt changes, inspections, adjustments, and lubrication. The position requires logging time and materials into a computerized maintenance management system and interpreting plans, specifications, schematics, and manuals. Additionally, you will assist battery technicians with repairs, battery changes, watering, washing, and acid spill cleanup, as well as support building and refrigeration maintenance teams with general repairs, electrical troubleshooting, and refrigeration system maintenance.
