Maintains, diagnoses, and repairs off-road equipment, primarily forklifts, scrubbers, walkie-rider lifts, straddle jacks, and pallet jacks. This role involves troubleshooting mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems, ordering necessary parts, and performing welding, cutting, or grinding as needed to complete repairs. The technician is responsible for all scheduled and non-scheduled maintenance to ensure maximum up-time for warehousing and facility operations, maintaining vehicle maintenance files, and ensuring all units meet safety standards. The position requires occasional repairs at other company branches or off-site locations and adherence to strict safety practices and company policies.
