About The Position

As a Forklift PIV Operator, you’ll be part of our Material Handling team located in Willard, Ohio. You’ll get to complete daily safety check sheets on forklifts, load and unload parts, and scan all parts in and out of stock locations to ensure inventory accuracy. You will also be responsible for keeping the plant stocked with the proper amount of parts, avoiding overstocking the facility with excess inventory, and abiding by all SBD Willard safety policies. Additionally, you will follow all applicable ISO standards & procedures, ensure all stock areas are kept neat and organized, and perform tasks as assigned by the Supervisor or Group Leader.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED
• Must have a valid lift truck operator license or successfully complete lift truck training
• Must be able read and comprehend instructions
• Effective verbal and written communication skills
• Knowledge of the Janus scanning guns and procedures
• Knowledge of the AS400 system
• Strong attention to detail
• Ability to lift up to 40 lbs.
• Able to work overtime as needed
