About The Position

The Forklift Operator performs warehouse functions that may include receiving and processing incoming stock, picking and filling orders, packing and shipping orders, and managing, organizing, and retrieving stock. The role works the 1st shift, from 6:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., and pays $17.00 per hour with weekly pay.

Requirements

• Demonstrated proficiency with all powered industrial vehicle (PIV) equipment operated in the warehouse.
• Ability to lift heavy objects, occasionally weighing 40–50 pounds, with or without reasonable accommodation for an entire shift.
• Ability to understand written English without translation software.
• Previous equipment operation experience.
• Obtain all necessary certifications required by OSHA upon hire.
• Dependability and ability to work as part of a team.
• Strong attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Select customer orders from shelves, place them onto pallets, and load them onto trailers.
• Operate industrial forklifts safely and responsibly.
• Retrieve and stack products safely using appropriate equipment.
• Use an onboard computer and wireless radio frequency system.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
• Assist other warehouse workers with tasks as requested by the Warehouse Manager or immediate supervisor.
