About The Position

Georgia-Pacific is hiring safety-focused Forklift Operators in Sheboygan, Wisconsin. The role supports warehouse and production operations by safely moving materials, handling shipments, and maintaining accurate records in a fast-paced environment. Pay is $24.40–$28.30 per hour, depending on experience, with a $3 shift differential for second and third shifts. Shift assignment is not guaranteed; operators must be flexible and available to work all shifts, overtime, and Saturdays as needed. Listed shifts are first shift, 6 a.m.–2 p.m.; second shift, 2 p.m.–10 p.m.; and third shift, 10 p.m.–6 a.m., starting Sunday night.

Requirements

• At least six months of sit-down forklift experience in an industrial or manufacturing environment.
• Experience using a computer, tablet, or scan gun for documentation and record-keeping.

Nice To Haves

• One year or more of sit-down forklift experience in a warehouse, industrial, or manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate a 10,000-pound sit-down forklift to load and unload trailers.
• Ensure loads are properly secured and in good condition.
• Maintain accurate records for inbound and outbound shipments.
• Follow plant safety and environmental guidelines, policies, and procedures.
• Perform general housekeeping to keep work areas clean and free of safety hazards.
• Support production by staging and delivering raw materials.
• Verify receipts, load sheets, and other required paperwork.
• Perform physical tasks including lifting, walking, climbing, stooping, standing, pushing, and pulling for at least eight hours per day.
