Forklift Operator
About The Position
Forklift operators will need to transport valuable items, requiring diligence and good hand-eye coordination. This role involves loading, unloading, shipping, and receiving warehouse items, transporting materials within the facility, optimizing loads for efficiency, and securing loads before transportation. Operators will also be responsible for inspecting vehicles for damages, scheduling maintenance and repairs, operating technical equipment, managing inventory using RF scanners, picking and wrapping orders, identifying safety hazards, adhering to safety standards and production schedules, and performing other duties as assigned by the manager.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED.
- Experience in operating forklift machinery
- Excellent hand-eye coordination.
- Proficiency in operating technical machinery and RF scanners.
- Good physical condition.
- Mathematical aptitude.
- Good organizational skills.
- Attention to detail.
- Good written and verbal communication.
- Must be able to physically operate forklift machinery
- Able to access all areas of the facility
- Able to lift 50lbs
- Be able to stand, lift, bend, stretch.
Responsibilities
- Loading, unloading, shipping, and receiving warehouse items.
- Transporting materials to different locations within the facility.
- Optimizing loads to ensure operational efficiency.
- Securing loads to the machine before transportation.
- Inspecting for damages to vehicles.
- Scheduling vehicles for maintenance and repairs.

- Managing inventory by utilizing RF scanning equipment.
- Picking and wrapping orders for shipment.
- Identifying workplace safety hazards.
- Adhering to safety management standards.
- Adhering to production schedules.
- Any other duties as assigned by the manager.
