About The Position

Legacy Supply Chain is hiring Forklift Operators for its distribution center in Greenfield, Indiana. The role involves operating material handling equipment to load, unload, pick, and replenish products from trucks, containers, and warehouse locations. Operators use a Warehouse Management System to support inventory tracking and task management, and perform receiving, inventory-accuracy, housekeeping, and safety duties. The schedule is Monday through Friday, 3:30 p.m. to 12:00 a.m. Starting pay is $22.00 per hour.

Requirements

Ability to lift and move items weighing up to 50 pounds independently.
Ability to work safely at various heights while adhering to safety regulations.
Ability to operate an electronic handheld scanner and tablet.
Punctuality and a demonstrated attendance record.
Flexibility to work overtime, including weekends.
Experience working in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.

Nice To Haves

High school diploma or GED.
One year of experience with a Cherry Picker/Order Picker, Reach Truck, and/or Dock Stocker.

Responsibilities

Operate material handling equipment, including Reach Trucks, Order Pickers, Dock Stockers, and Pallet Jacks.
Pick, place, and move stock accurately and in accordance with organizational standards.
Use scales to weigh products and materials as needed for inventory accuracy.
Use a Warehouse Management System for inventory tracking, task assignment, and process management.
Perform inbound receiving procedures, including inspecting and identifying compliance or trailer issues.
Manually lift product from pallets, including at rack heights, and bend to separate mixed pallets.
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
Follow company safety policies and procedures.
Perform other duties as assigned.
