About The Position

Bachoco USA produces the highest quality chicken products for the U.S. market. Currently, the Bachoco USA family includes more than 4,000 team members who are dedicated to consistently producing high-quality chicken products and nourishing people around the world. This is a 2nd Shift Forklift Operator position in Department 167, Plant 2, with shift hours from 3 p.m. to 11:30 p.m. The pay rate is $16.50 per hour.

Requirements

• Ability to work in temperatures ranging from zero to minus twenty degrees Fahrenheit.
• Production workers are required to stand for a period, walk, and reach with hands and/or arms.
• The team member must regularly lift and/or move up to 25-40 pounds.
• This is a safety sensitive position.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the production of quality food products.
• Set-up/tear-down workstation & line as required.
• Assists in movement of product within the distribution process.
• Unloading/loading of inbound, outbound and transfer trailers.
• Moving of product from one area to another.
• Keep dock floors and equipment clear of debris including but not limited to stretch wrap, wood, dust, snow, ice and exposed product.
• Up-stacking or down-stacking of product for storage, loading and inventories.
• Pass all requirements to be a PIE operator for OK Foods.
• Maintain an absentee rate of 5% or less.
• Maintains work area in a safe and sanitary manner.
